To give, me I can talk of it as our real joy if you have never been or you have never felt real joy. Me and millions out there, have found it in serving. To see someone’s needs met.
Because it’s in our DNA, it’s the reality of who we are. To give and share the little we have, when we stand and do it, it’s what brings real color of us. it shows us from the inside out.
In 2017-2018 I was able to support a little girl in her education! Then I even forgot about it! Because I didn’t take it as much! But few weeks ago she came looking for me and all she wanted to say was like, thank you Ushindi! I was like wow! I couldn’t believe she was still remembering it! She made me sure of what I was doing, and understood that I was on the right track. She made me write this.
It makes us know that our lives are valuable when we live for others, yet it’s all what this life is about. To live for somebody else.
Giving is an opportunity to so many who are in need today. When you give, you open that door to someone who can’t make it by his or her own! It’s something you will never be disappointed with. This is your heart’s satisfaction. Something we all need to live and teach to our children. Because it’s the peace and the better of the world.
Though we can do it every day, there are thousands starving out there and only our actions can make a difference to them and find their lives back. Now imagine planting such a thing in hundreds or thousands of people, what a life changing!
What it creates – the Feedback loop
Writers and speakers talk and define it in one way or another, so here is me and my story what giving has done to me, and what it’s doing into my life, and those around me.
One time when I was desperate, depressed, hopeless, giving backed me up.
All in all, a person who is being given his or her life is changed. Something supernatural is being built inside him/her. It isn’t about only big things or about big gifts. Instead, that we call a little, that we see like not much, something like giving someone just a onetime meal to someone who really needs it, it changes a lot. It is not about how much we give, but how much love we put into giving. Our passion should be the foundation for our giving.
During that moment of being desperate the only they have most, is praying. Because prayer is always there! You just need to open your mouth and say something. But honestly during that moment you have no idea of what you might be doing or what you would do next.
That person being helped out, it walks on him/her for the rest of their life because they were helped! They were fed! They were provided; they were shown light, the real light of life! Their prayer was answered. And then live knowing that there is someone who cares.
When I received and when I was served, it opened a gate in me that I should live as a servant. And I am very sure it was all done by the person who served me! Someone who stood with me no matter what! And now I’m ready to go, and I have found it as a purpose for my life.
If you would like to find the purpose for your life and where to spend your valuable time
“Be of help to someone with something you have that she or he doesn’t have! And it will change the rest of your life.”
Spending your time helping those around you is extremely beneficial, for both you and the community. It is statistically proven that people who volunteer regularly are healthier both physically and mentally. Individuals who have volunteered throughout their lifetime typically live longer and have better psychological well-being. In addition serving gives people a sense of purpose.
Volunteering your time to support a cause you are passionate about is something you will never regret. It will enrich your life, familiarize you with the community, and connect you to people and ideas that will positively impact your perspective for the rest of your life. Helping someone is an opportunity for you to grow as a person, to better understand how you fit into the world around you.
The world of service
“And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say into you, he shall in no wise lose his reward”
As we all live just once, and the matter of our lives is in how we made the world or the people around us feel while we were living!
It matters when we choose one thing that we are passionate about and what benefits the community that we live in which will be our memorable.
Being successful at whatever you choose means taking the time to find your passion. If you’re passionate about your work, it will come across to everyone around you and help you fill your life with meaning. For me which is to serve and live for someone. The way to help find your career passion is to give your time out for personal reflection and exploration and to take advantage of opportunities such as these when they arise. It's better to dedicate our lives to serve. For, there are thousands who desperately need to be saved.
Why is it so important to find a cause you love and volunteer your time?
Spending time enriching your community is a great way to broaden your perceptions of the world. By immersing yourself in a community and surrounding yourself with people who are dedicated to bettering the world, you can learn so much about how the world works. You gain a unique sense of purpose by serving those around you, one which often manifests in other areas of your life.
It’s of course also important for your community! Without volunteers, many of the services and events we enjoy in our communities would not be so readily available.Spending time helping out at local shelters or food banks provides an important service to less fortunate neighbors. Giving back to the place you call home helps to unite the community and bridge some of the social, economic and political gaps.
Being alive from the inside, when you serve and help someone out, is when you feel yourself being alive. Because then your life matters! You deserve to live, because you don't live only just for yourself! But you live for others.
I started feeling alive; I started feeling that I have lived when I see young and elders, with a big smile on their faces! Orphans, widows, and ones with disabilities gaining hope. Those who used to see and think that they are abandoned, and think life is over standing up and strong for the go.
That’s what I can say according to what I know and what I have lived and experienced in my life.
